The 1995/96 season was the ninth season of the Elitserien . The defending champion SK Rockaden Stockholm won all competitions and won his fifth title in a row. From the Division I of goods Limhamns SK , the SK Kamraterna and Södra SASS ascended. All promoted players achieved relegation, while Solna Schacksällskap , SK Passanten and Wasa SK had to relegate.
Events
The competitions took place on October 22, November 12, December 3, 1995, January 14, February 4 and 25, and March 8, 9 and 10, 1996. The last three rounds were played centrally in Malmö .
