Elitserien (chess) 2019/20

The Elitserien (chess) 2019/20 is the 32nd season of the Elitserien , the top division in Swedish team chess . The defending champion is Lunds ASK , and Växjö SK and Burgsvik Alva SK were promoted from Superettan last year .

Game dates

The first three rounds were played centrally in Uppsala from October 18 to 20, 2019 , rounds 4 to 6 mostly in reverse order from January 31 to February 2, 2020, with two competitions each in Lund and Stockholm on January 31 took place, on February 1st and 2nd three competitions each in Stockholm and one each in Lund and Malmö . A round 6 competition was only played on February 29, 2020. The last three rounds were supposed to be held centrally in Växjö from March 27 to 29, 2020 , but were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
