Elitserien (chess) 2009/10
The 2009/10 season saw SK Team Viking (in the previous year still as Sollentuna SK at the start) with four points ahead of Lunds ASK and the defending champion SK Rockaden Stockholm at the top.
In the previous year, SK Rockaden Umeå , Wasa SK and (due to the withdrawal of Skara Schacksällskap ) Eksjö SK rose from the Superettan . While Umeå and Wasa SK both relegated without a chance, Eksjö ended up in midfield. For the reported team squads of the participating clubs see team squad of the Elitserien (chess) 2009/10 .
Game dates
The competitions took place on October 16, 17 and 18, 2009, November 14, 2009, December 5 and 6, 2009, January 16, 2010, February 6, 27 and 28, 2010 and on November 12, 13, 2009 and March 14, 2010. The first three rounds were played centrally in Malmö , the last three rounds were played centrally in Täby , the other competitions were held locally at the participating clubs.
