The 2013/14 season was the 26th season of the Elitserien , the top division in Swedish team chess. The champions were SK Rockaden Stockholm , who defeated the previously leading Lunds ASK in the last round and at the same time was able to distance the pursuer SK Team Viking by half a board point. The defending champion Limhamns SK had to be content with 5th place. Upsala ASS and Farsta SK were promoted from the Superettan . While Farsta reached relegation, Upsala had to relegate together with Burgsvik Alva SK directly. The round dates were generally November 22, 23 and 24, 2013, January 18, 2014, February 1 and 22, 2014, and March 7, 8 and 9, 2014. However, a fifth round competition was held on Played January 2014, two sixth round competitions on January 19 and February 2, 2014. The first three rounds were centrally organized in Västerås , the last three in Malmö .
