Patristic Commission
The Patristic Commission is an institution founded in 1960 by the Working Group of the German Academies of Sciences to coordinate the patristic research of the academies.
The Patristic Commission is now supported by eight German Academies of Science as a joint venture. Your main task is to coordinate and accompany the research and activities of the individual workplaces of the academies. She also publishes the series Patristic Texts and Studies . The founding members of the commission included Carl Andresen and Wilhelm Schneemelcher .
