Pauca is a town in the La Paz department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Pauca is the central place of the canton of Pauca in the municipality of Colquiri in the province of Inquisivi . The village is located at an altitude of 3728  m on the left, northern bank of the Río Khala Parani, which forms the border between the province of Inquisivi in ​​the department of La Paz and the province of Tapacarí in the department of Cochabamba .
