Paul Bramböck

Paul Bramböck (born January 20, 1884 in Amras , Innsbruck , † January 28, 1948 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian clergyman of the Roman Catholic Church and politician ( CSP ).

Life

Paul Bramböck passed the Matura at the Franziskanergymnasium in Hall in Tirol . After that, he entered the seminary in Salzburg and studied theology and was 1907 in Salzburg for priests ordained. Since 1903 he was a member of the Catholic student union AV Vindelicia Innsbruck.

In the same year Bramböck became a cooperator in Niederndorf , two years later, in 1909, he became an assistant priest in Brixen . In the next three decades Bramböck worked as a pastor in Kirchbichl , Wörgl , Kitzbühel and Zell am Ziller , again in Niederndorf, then in Stumm and Langkampfen . Most recently he was pastor in the Salzburg district of Itzling in 1937 and was pastor there until his death in 1948.

From 1926 to 1933 Bramböck worked as secretary of the Catholic organization Unterland . In 1934 he was elected to head the magazine as well as head of the editorial team of Unterland. Tyrolean Sunday paper . In 1937 he resigned from both functions.

On the political level, Bramböck was a member of the Federal Council in Vienna from January 1928 to December 1933 .
