Paul Friedrich Schröder

Paul Friedrich Schröder (born April 24, 1869 in Wolfenbüttel , † February 21, 1921 in Eisenach ) was a German journalist and writer .

Life

The son of a merchant born Schröder studied after attending the public school and the St. Nicholas School in Leipzig History , Literature and Classical Languages in Munich and Leipzig. During his studies in 1890 he was a founding member of the Suevia Leipzig fraternity . As a student, he published in the Leipzig court newspaper, the magazine Moderne Dichtung and in Von Haus zu Haus .

Since he saw poor opportunities in the teaching profession after his studies, he became a journalist. In 1893 he became the head of the Upper Silesian Court Newspaper in Ratibor and from 1899 was at the Glatzer Zeitung . In 1902 he moved to Breslau to the Breslauer Generalanzeiger , in 1903 to the Frankfurter Oderzeitung and from 1905 to 1907 he was editor-in-chief of the latest news in Chemnitz . In 1908 he moved to Hirschberg in Silesia and was from 1909 in Eisenach, where he chief editor and chief editor of Eisenacher newspaper was, in which he also published theater reviews. In Eisenach City Theater many were premiered his plays.
