Paul George (born January 27, 1994 in Killough ) is an Irish football player.
Career
society
Born in 1994 near Ardglass in Killough, Northern Ireland, George joined Celtic Glasgow at the age of 14 . For the club founded by Irish Catholic immigrants, he first played in the Youth Academy . In the professional team, he made his debut in the 2011/12 Scottish League Cup against Ross County when he came into the game for Gary Hooper . In May 2011 he scored the winning goal in the final of the Glasgow Cup for the Juniors from Celtic against the Rangers . By a rough foul of a Rangers player in a Old Firm derby of the U-19 juniors in April 2012 he suffered a tibia and fibula fracture , who had a long injury lay-off result. From January to May 2014 George was awarded to the Scottish second division club Hamilton Academical , with whom he was able to celebrate promotion to the Premiership at the end of the season. He returned to Celtic for the 2014/15 season . In January 2015, the contract was dissolved in Glasgow, and he signed a month later a contract with the end of the season with the Scottish third division club Dunfermline Athletic . In October, George changed clubs prematurely and signed with Cliftonville FC .
National team
As a native of Northern Ireland , he first played for their junior teams . In 2011 he was recruited by the Republic of Ireland to play for teams from that association .
