The Scottish League Cup was played for the 66th time in 2011/12 . The Scottish League Cup, which is played among the participants of the Scottish Football League and the Scottish Premier League , began on July 30, 2011 and ended with the final on March 18, 2011. If a duel was not decided after 90 minutes plus extra time, it came to the penalty shootout . The FC Kilmarnock won the title for the first time in the club's history in the final against Celtic Glasgow .
