The Scottish League Cup was played for the 65th time in 2010/11 . The Scottish League Cup, which was played among the participants of the Scottish Football League and the Scottish Premier League , began on July 31, 2010 and ended with the final on March 20, 2011. If a duel was not decided after 90 minutes plus extra time, it came to the penalty shootout. The Glasgow Rangers won the League Cup title for the 27th time, in the final the Rangers won 2-1 after extra time in the Old Firm Derby against Celtic Glasgow .
