Life
After taking the Landmesser test in Prussia in 1895, Paul Siedentopf worked for the Royal Special Commission in Hanover for two years. On June 1, 1897, he joined the city of Hanover as a surveyor. On September 30, 1935, he retired as surveying director after a total of 38 years in the service of the city administration.
In addition to numerous articles in various magazines and newspapers about the city history of Hanover, Siedentopf also wrote an article on the early history of Hanover city surveying in the journal for surveying (year 1900, issue 16).
