Paul Twaroch

Paul Twaroch (born March 15, 1932 in Vienna ) is an Austrian lawyer , radio manager and journalist .

Life

Paul Twaroch received his doctorate in 1956 from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Vienna .

Twaroch worked in various ministries before he became secretary general of the ORF between 1970 and 1978 . In the following years, he was director of the Lower Austria regional studio until 1998 . From 2000 to 2002 he was chairman of the press council .

Paul Twaroch has two daughters; his daughter Eva (* 1963; † 2018) was a foreign correspondent for ORF. His second daughter, Gabriele Thoma-Twaroch, is head of the Josefstadt District Court in Vienna.
