Paulo Antonino Mascarenhas Roxo OPraem (born June 12, 1928 in São Geraldo ) is a Brazilian religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Mogi das Cruzes .

Life

Paulo Antonino Mascarenhas Roxo joined the religious order of the Premonstratensians at and received on 20 August 1952, the priestly ordination .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Mogi das Cruzes on November 18, 1989. The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil, Archbishop Carlo Furno , donated him episcopal ordination on January 28 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Konrad Walter SAC , coadjutor bishop of Jacarezinho , and Constantino Amstalden , bishop of São Carlos .

On August 4, 2004, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
