Pavement Music is an American music label from Oakbrook Terrace , Illinois , which specializes in various types of heavy metal . Between the founding in 1993 and the temporary withdrawal from the industry in 2002, many albums were released by bands that were under contract with other record companies in Europe, such as B. Accept and Kreator . In 2013 the label was reopened by owner and managing director Mark Nawara.
