Career in wrestling

His first match in wrestling denied Pedro Aguayo Ramírez in 1995 at the League Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (short: AAA ), later known as Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide . At the time he was 15 years old. On January 19, 1997 he made his debut for the former World Wrestling Federation when he was in a Dark - Tag Team -Match in a pay-per-view broadcast event Royal Rumble together with Venum Black's team Maniaco and Mosco de la Merced was allowed to defeat. In this one-off appearance for the league, however, it stayed. In 1997 he was allowed to advance to the finals with his father Perro Aguayo as part of a tournament for the then vacant Mexican National Tag Team Championship , in which they lost to Fuerza Guerrera and Mosco de la Merced. The first title win of the two came a little more than a year later on June 7, 1998 at AAA TripleMania VI . After 329 days title reign, the father-son team gave the title on 2 May 1999 to the tag team of Abismo Negro and Electroshock , members of the Stables Los Vipers , ex.

From 1998 he belonged to Blue Demon Jr. , La Parka Jr. , Máscara Sagrada Jr. and initially Sicodelico Jr. of the stable Los Junior Atomicos . On April 18, 1999, he received the Mexican National Atomicos Championship together with the first three , which they had to surrender on September 17, 1999 after 152 days. On July 9, 2000 he received  the Mexican National Tag Team Championship for the second time from Abismo Negro and Electroshock - this time in a tag team with Héctor Garza . After 61 days, they gave the titles to El Texano and Pirata Morgan . Until then, he was particularly successful in the tag team and stable scene in relation to titles, but in 2002 he was also able to hold a single title for the first time. On April 21, 2002, he was allowed to win the Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship from Electroshock, which he handed over to El Dandy on September 1, 2002 after 133 days .

Until the end of 2002, Aguayo Ramírez performed mainly at AAA . From then on, until 2008, he mainly entered the ring at Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre ( CMLL for short ). At the end of 2003, however, he initially received the WWA World Tag Team Championship at the World Wrestling Association together with El Hijo del Santo , who was later replaced as his partner in a storyline by Último Guerrero . With Héctor Garza he was able to hold the title one more time from January 2008. At CMLL he won the Torneo Gran Alternativa in the tag team with Misterioso Jr. in 2006 and won the CMLL World Trios Championship on February 16, 2007 as part of Los Perros del Mal with Héctor Garza and Mr. Águila . After Héctor Garza left the group, the titles were vacated on May 24, 2008. From 2009, Aguayo Ramírez was no longer primarily seen in individual leagues. In 2012 he won the Rey de Reyes tournament at AAA . In this he was allowed to advance to the final in 2014, which he had to lose. Aguayo Ramírez played his last match before the fatal accident on March 18, 2015 for AAA .

death

On the evening of March 20, 2015, Aguayo Ramírez competed under the ring name Perro Aguayo Jr. at an event of the league The Crash Lucha Libre in Tijuana , Baja California in a tag team match alongside Theodore James Perkins ( Manik ) team Extreme Tiger and Óscar Gutiérrez Rubio ( Rey Mysterio Jr. ) on. In the course of the match, Aguayo Ramírez fell into the ring ropes after a dropkick Rubios. Then he was to his finishing move , one as 619 designated Tiger Feint Kick- dodging. However, he remained unconscious on the ropes. The fight was continued for about a minute after a brief hesitation by the other wrestlers before they ended with a pinfall against Perkins. Meanwhile , the promoter Charles Ashenoff ( Konnan ) standing at the ring tried to bring Aguayo Ramírez, who was now lying on the ring floor, back to consciousness. Aguayo Ramírez was then taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead on March 21, 2015 at around 1 a.m. local time at the age of 35. An autopsy revealed cardiac arrest due to spinal trauma as the cause of death. It is unclear whether he suffered this from the dropkick Rubios, from his own fall into the ropes, or from that of his partner Perkins, who was supposed to avoid Rubios 619 together with Ramírez. Aguayo Ramírez probably died immediately after the unsuccessful operation. Inadequate medical care by Aguayo Ramírez at the ring was criticized. The ring doctor present on site was treating other wrestlers, a stretcher required for the stable transport of the casualty was not available for the same reason. Aguayo Ramírez had to be brought out of the hall lying on a wooden table. The Mexican police opened an investigation into possible manslaughter against those responsible for the show. They have been set, after the competent medical examiner had come to the conclusion that the lives of Aguayo Ramírez with the best possible medical care could not have been saved. He was buried in Guadalajara .
