Pedro López Muñoz (born November 1, 1983 in Torrent ), Pedro López for short , is a Spanish football player who plays for UD Levante in the Spanish Primera División .

Player career

Pedro López started his career as a footballer at the big Valencia CF , where he already played in his youth. In 2002 he was promoted to the Valencians' B team, where he was under contract for two years. The defender, who was born in Torrent , then moved to the first division club Racing Santander . Although he played about half of all season games, but he could not prevail in northern Spain. So it was first a league lower for him. At Real Valladolid , the right defender started a fresh start. Since his arrival there, he has played a large part of the games and even rose with his team in 2006/2007 in the first division . The team was able to hold out there for three years before relegation followed at the end of the 2009/10 season . Pedro López remained loyal to the club and has played in the Segunda División ever since .

After a year in the second division, however, he moved to the first division UD Levante in July 2011 and signed a three-year contract there.
