Pedro Sanchez (actor)
Pedro Sanchez (actually Ignazio Spalla , born May 5, 1924 in Termini Imerese , † February 9, 2005 in Costacciaro ) was an Italian actor who was mainly seen in spaghetti westerns and other genre films.
Life
Sanchez has appeared in numerous films since the mid-1960s. His star role, which was due to his stocky build and his grim face, usually decorated with a full beard, was that of the greasy henchman, often Mexican in character, but also the comical, quick-tempered sidekick of the hero or the unsuccessful victim in Franco & Ciccio comedies. In addition to numerous spaghetti westerns , who make up almost two thirds of his films, he was also successful in other genre films . With the ebb of the success of such films in the late 1970s, his career also came to an end. After 1977 he was no longer active.
