Peter Blank

Peter Blank (born April 10, 1962 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a versatile German athlete who was active as a javelin thrower and high jumper for around 20 years . His first success was winning the German Junior High Jump Championship in 1983 (2.23 m). In 1990 he reached 7651 points in the decathlon (the spear flew to 79.80 m). In 1988 he achieved his personal best in the long jump with 7.41 m.

The then computer science student Peter Blank took part once in the Olympic Games, three times in European championships and five times in world championships. He is 1.95 m tall and his competition weight was 103 kg.

He starts for the LG Eintracht Frankfurt . His trainer is Bernd Bierwisch.
