Peter Bollhagen

Peter Bollhagen (born June 30, 1959 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and entrepreneur.

Family, education and work

Bollhagen is the son of the entrepreneur Klaus Bollhagen and his wife Karla Bollhagen. He attended elementary school in Bremen, Lothringer Strasse and then the grammar school at Barkhof . After the death of his father, he left high school and joined his parents' company.

He completed a commercial apprenticeship at the paint and varnish factory Suding & Soeken and an apprenticeship as a painter . In 1983, after completing his master craftsman's examination in Bremen, he became managing partner of the company that had been managed by his mother up to that point. The traditional company Otto Bollhagen later had to file for bankruptcy. Then he began working with Wolfgang Pero in the Pero + Partner painting business in Bremen with the painting business Bollhagen .

1979 Bollhagen became a member of the FDP. He was a co-founder of the Young Liberals in Bremen and was their state chairman for many years.

He was a member of the Bremen citizenship from 1987 to 1994. From April 2002 to August 2003 he was deputy chairman of the FDP in Bremen , then until July 2006 FDP chairman. Since April 2012 he has been treasurer of the FDP regional association in Bremen.

Further memberships

In 1985 Bollhagen joined the Federal Association of Young Entrepreneurs (BJU). In 2000 he switched to the working group for self-employed entrepreneurs (ASU). 2005 became a board member, 2006 initially provisional, since 2007 full regional chairman of the ASU in Bremen. Since March 2012 he has been regional chairman of the ASU.
