Peter DeLuise (born November 6, 1966 in New York , New York ) is an American actor , producer and director .

Life

Peter DeLuise is the son of actor Dom DeLuise and his wife, actress Carol DeLuise . DeLuise began his acting career with the television series 21 Jump Street - Crime Scene Classroom , in which he played the role of officer Doug Penhall who made him famous.

DeLuise also works as a film and television director. In 2009 he directed the television film Robin Hood: Beyond Sherwood Forest and was responsible for more than 50 episodes on the Stargate SG-1 series , including scriptwriting for some. He directed some episodes for the first time at 21 Jump Street - Tatort Klassenzimmer , and later also for Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe . His work in this regard includes more than 50 productions. There are also activities in various producer positions.

After 21 Jump Street - Tatort Classroom , he was seen in the science fiction series SeaQuest DSV and had guest appearances in numerous series such as Friends and Andromeda . In the SciFi web series Sanctuary - Guardians of the Creatures he had a guest appearance as "Ernie Watts" and was seen in the third season of Supernatural as FBI Deputy Director Steven Groves . His acting work includes more than 50 film and television roles.

From 1988 to 1992 DeLuise was married to his childhood sweetheart Gina Nemo, she had a small recurring guest role on 21 Jump Street in seasons 2 and 3 , as the friend of Doug Penhall (played by DeLuise).

DeLuise is married for the second time, his current wife is Anne Marie Loder , who also works in show business. They have one child together. DeLuises younger brothers Michael and David are also active as actors.
