Peter Grünberger (born November 20, 1962 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

societies

Grünberger was a midfielder in the Bundesliga squad of FC Bayern Munich from 1981 to 1983 . The player who moved from BSC Sendling to Bayern played his only two Bundesliga games in the 1981/82 season. On May 18, 1982 (20th matchday) he made his debut in the 2-0 defeat in the away game against Werder Bremen with the substitution for Kurt Niedermayer in the second half . On May 29th (34th matchday) he played over 90 minutes in the 3-1 defeat in the away game against VfL Bochum .

With Bayern he won the DFB Cup in 1982 (without a stint) , which also reached the final of the European Cup , which was lost to Aston Villa on May 26, 1982 1-0 . Without further match practice in the following season he moved to VfL Bochum, for which he completed 214 minutes in seven Bundesliga games - due to five substitutions and one substitution.
