Peter Kukučka (born July 20, 1982 in Bojnice , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Slovak handball player . He is 1.91 meters tall and was mostly used on the middle back . He currently trains the cadets in Schaffhausen .
Since the age of ten, Kukučka played in the youth of the Slovak top club MŠK Považská Bystrica . Here he also made his debut in the professional team and won the Slovak championship in 2002 and 2003. In 2003 he moved to the other top club in the country, HT Tatran Prešov , where he was again champion in 2004 and 2005 and even to SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the EHF Champions League and met the THW Kiel . In 2005 he moved abroad to Dunaferr SE in the Hungarian league, where he played regularly in the EHF Cup . In the summer of 2007 he then moved to the HSG Nordhorn in the 1st handball league . From February 2009 he ran for the cadets, with whom he was five times champion and twice cup winner. After the 2014/15 season, he ended his career for health reasons.
With the Slovak national team , he also took part in the 2006 European handball championship in Switzerland, but only finished 16th. He was on the squad for the 2011 World Cup ; by December 2010, he played 79 international matches , in which he threw 286 goals.
From February 2017 to December 2017, Kukučka trained the cadets Schaffhausen.
