Peter Moysey

Peter Moysey (born June 29, 1963 ) is a retired New Zealand cross-country skier and biathlete .

Cross-country skiing

The New Zealand cross-country skiing champion took part in three Nordic World Ski Championships. 1995 in Thunder Bay Moysey finished 92nd place over 10 km classic, 71st place over 30 km classic, 73rd place in the pursuit over 25 km and 67th place over 50 km freestyle . In 1997 in Trondheim he finished 103rd over 10 km classic, 89th over 30 km freestyle and 85th in the 25 km pursuit. This meant the last place in the starting field. In 1999 in Ramsau he was 88th over 10 km classic, 74th over 30 km freestyle, 58th over 50 km classic and 72nd in the pursuit.

biathlon

He made his debut in the biathlon world cup in the 2000/01 season at Holmenkollen , where he finished 88th in the sprint. He achieved his best World Cup result in the 2003/04 season with a 66th place in the sprint in Fort Kent (USA). In 2004 he started in Pokljuka at the World Championships in archery biathlon and was 23rd in the mass start and 24th in the sprint competition. He did not finish the chase. At the age of 42, Moysey retired from the Biathlon World Cup. On January 19, 2006, he contested his last World Cup race in Antholz , which he finished in 102nd place.

After his biathlon career in the Austrian is Wörgl living Sporttherapeut still active in sports. He competes in marathons and quadrathlons, among other things . In 2007 Moysey won the canoe triathlon in Schongau .
