Peter Petersz

Peter Petersz ; actually Peter Simon-Petersz (born October 5, 1925 in Mainz , † September 24, 1955 in Berlin ; also known as Peter Peterz ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Peter Petersz was the son of senior director Paul Petersz. Since 1945 he was a member of the ensemble of the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm in Berlin.

He also worked in some film productions . Among them were the DEFA films Mayor Anna directed by Hans Müller with Reinhard Kolldehoff , Arno Paulsen and Lutz Moik from 1950 and 1951 The Subject of Wolfgang Staudte with Werner Peters , Paul Esser and Blandine Ebinger . From 1949 onwards, Peter Petersz also frequently worked as a voice actor. He could be heard as the German voice of Rock Hudson in the Western Winchester '73 and he dubbed Richard Kiley in the US film Police Intervene . In addition, he occasionally worked as a radio play speaker.

Peter Petersz committed at the age of 30 years suicide .
