His first book, Luftangriff: Regensburg und die Messerschmittwerke im Fadhreuz 1939–1945 , was published around the same time and was published in 1995 and ten years later the Mittelbayerische Zeitung called it a “standard work”. The third, expanded and revised edition was published at the end of 2019.
Two of his books have also been published in one volume and translated into English in the United Kingdom .
