Peter Tchernyshev (born February 6, 1971 in Leningrad , Soviet Union ) is a figure skater who started in a single run at the beginning of his career for the Soviet Union . After an injury, he switched to ice dancing . From 1996 he joined Naomi Lang as a partner for the United States . Together they became four continent champions in ice dance in 2000 and 2002 . They also took part in the 2002 Winter Olympics and five world championships .
