Petr Uher

Petr Uher (born December 14, 1958 in Prague ) is a Czech doctor for gynecology and obstetrics , specialist in reproductive medicine and endocrinology , research assistant at the Institute for Sex Research at Charles University in Prague, founder of several centers for reproductive medicine , author of numerous scientific publications and Books on reproductive medicine and genetics . He is currently also working as a senior doctor and managing director of the centers of the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Genetics in Karlovy Vary and FertiCare in Prague.

Petr Uher studied from 1978 to 1984 at the Medical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno . He completed his specialist training as a doctor for gynecology and obstetrics in 1987 and 1992. In 1996 he was recognized as Dr. Med. Univ. at the Leopold Franzens University Innsbruck . Since 2009 he has also been working as a specialist in reproductive medicine and endocrinology and since 2011 the Ph.D. in the field of reproductive medicine .

In 1990 he also completed a certification course in andrology at the 1st Medical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague, a workshop on embryo freezing in 1991 ( Erlangen , Germany), in 1995 courses in advanced endoscopic surgical techniques ( Hamburg , Germany), a Doppler course -Sonography ( Berlin , Germany), 2001 to 2008 courses in endocrinology ( Munich , Germany), 2006 to 2007 an internship on molecular biology with Wiliam Howatt ( Tampere , Finland) and 2006 to 2007 internship and practice in PGD at the RGI Institute ( Chicago , USA). Petr Uher worked from 1984 to 1985 in the team of specialists under the direction of L. Pilka at the Gynecological Clinic of Masaryk University in Brno , who had the first conception through assisted reproduction in Central Europe thirty years ago. After leaving the Czech Republic, he worked for several years as the deputy head doctor of one of the largest European institutes for reproductive medicine in Bregenz (Austria) and Niederuzwil (Switzerland).
