Hans-Ulrich Pfaffmann (born January 18, 1956 in Annweiler ) is a Bavarian politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

biography

Hans-Ulrich Pfaffmann attended grammar school from 1966 to 1971 and did commercial training from 1971 to 1974. After he had completed vocational training as a nurse from 1975 to 1978 , he worked in this profession, u. a. as ward manager, in hospitals in Homburg , Karlsruhe , Mannheim , Landau and Munich . From 1984 Pfaffmann built the intensive care unit for severe burn injuries at the Bogenhausen Clinic in Munich . From 1984 to 1990 he was chairman of the staff council at the same clinic . Hans-Ulrich Pfaffmann is married and has five children and five grandchildren.

Political career

In 1980 Pfaffmann joined the SPD. On May 24, 2003 he was elected deputy chairman of the SPD Upper Bavaria at the district party conference in Grafing and was confirmed in this party office on April 30, 2005 in Murnau . In the next election in 2007, Pfaffmann no longer ran for this office. In 2008 Hans-Ulrich Pfaffmann became deputy chairman of the Munich SPD. He was responsible for the election campaigns of the local elections in 2003 and 2008 in Munich for Christian Ude and the Munich SPD. In May 2009 Pfaffmann was elected his successor at the party congress at the suggestion of the chairman of the Munich SPD, Franz Maget , and was re-elected chairman of the Munich SPD on May 7, 2011 with 82 out of 126 votes.

On March 18, 1990 and March 10, 1996, Hans-Ulrich Pfaffmann was elected to the Munich City Council, of which he was a member until 1998. He was health policy spokesman for the SPD city council group. In this function, Pfaffmann has rendered services to Bavarian education and school policy and was considered a serious opponent of the Bavarian Minister of Education, Schneider, who was in office until September 2008. He reformulated the educational policy program of the Bavarian SPD. In the current term of office of the Bavarian state parliament from October 2008, Pfaffmann initially acted as chairman of the parliamentary committee for education, youth and sport, but switched to the committee for social affairs, family and work in summer 2011 at the request of the parliamentary group. At the same time, the parliamentary group elected him on June 8, 2011 as its social policy spokesman. In connection with the change of department, Pfaffmann was promoted to the leadership team of the SPD parliamentary group. He is also the regional spokesman for the Upper Bavarian SPD members of the state parliament.

Honorary positions

From 1990 to 2009 Hans-Ulrich Pfaffmann was President, since 2009 he has been Vice President of the Helios-Daglfing sports club. Awards
