Philip Arnold Subira Anyolo (born May 18, 1956 in Tongaren ) is a Kenyan clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Kisumu .

Life

Philip Arnold Subira Anyolo was ordained a priest on October 15, 1983 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kericho on December 6, 1995 . The episcopal ordination donated him to the Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Jozef Tomko , on 3 February of the next year; Co-consecrators were Maurice Michael Cardinal Otunga , Archbishop of Nairobi and Military Bishop of Kenya , and Cornelius Arap Korir Kipng'eno , Bishop of Eldoret .

He was named Bishop of Homa Bay on March 22, 2003 and was installed in office on May 23 of the same year. Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Kisumu on November 15, 2018. The inauguration took place on January 12 of the following year.

Bishop Anyolo currently chairs the Bishops' Conference.
