Philippe Martin (born January 26, 1955 ) is a former Belgian racing driver .
Racing career
Philippe Martin is the younger brother of Jean-Michel Martin , with whom he contested almost all of his endurance races as a team partner. His nephew Maxime Martin is also a racing driver. With his brother, he won the overall classification of the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race twice, in 1979 and 1980 .
He competed six times in the Le Mans 24-hour race . In 1980 , on his debut, he reached third place overall on a Rondeau M379 with his brother and Gordon Spice . His best placement apart from Le Mans was fifth place with Jürgen Lässig and Hervé Regout in a Porsche 956 in the 1000 km race at Spa-Francorchamps in 1984 .
