Pia Fink (born July 10, 1995 ) is a German cross-country skier .

Career

Fink, who competes for SV Bremelau , took part in U20 races in the Alpencup from 2013 to 2015 . She finished fourth in the U20 overall ranking in the 2014/15 season. In February 2014, she completed her first race in the adult class in the Alpine Cup in Oberwiesenthal and achieved 12th place over 10 km classic. At the German Championships 2016 in Kirchzarten , she won the team sprint together with Sandra Ringwald . In the 2016/17 season she came in the top ten twelve times in the Alpencup, including four times in third and once in second place and thus achieved third place in the overall ranking. At the 2017 U23 World Championships in Soldier Hollow , she was eighth in the sprint, seventh in the 10 km freestyle and sixth in the skiathlon . She made her debut in the World Cup at the Tour de Ski 2017/18 in Lenzerheide , which she finished in 36th place in the sprint. In Oberstdorf she got her first World Cup points in the fourth stage of the tour with the 27th place in the 10 km mass start race and finally reached the 26th place in the overall tour ranking. At the U23 World Championships in Goms in 2018 , she was seventh in the sprint and fourth in the skiathlon and over 10 km classic.

In the 2018/19 season, Fink finished 17th at the Tour de Ski 2018/19 and 23rd at the World Cup finals in Québec , making it 37th in the overall World Cup. At the season highlight, the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , she finished 30th in the skiathlon , 25th in the 30 km mass start race and 15th place over 10 km classic. At the end of March 2019 she finished third in the team sprint at the German cross-country skiing championships in Reit im Winkl together with Sandra Ringwald . In February 2020 she became German champion over 10 km freestyle at the German cross-country skiing championships in Oberstdorf .
