Pierfelice Tagliacarne

Pierfelice Tagliacarne (born January 22, 1948 in Sannazzaro de 'Burgondi ; † May 25, 2020 in Munich ) was a Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

In 1972 he obtained a licentiate in Catholic theology at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana and in 1976 he obtained a licentiate in re biblica at the Pontificio Istituto Biblico . From 1972 to 1975 he studied Biblical Sciences at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. From 1977 to 1985 he worked as a translator (Ex; Dtn) on the ecumenical translation of the Old Testament into Italian. From 1980 to 1982 he had a teaching position for Biblical Hebrew at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Passau . From 1982 to 1985 he was a research assistant at the Catholic Theological Faculty in Passau (introductory biblical studies: Otto Knoch / Old Testament exegesis: Günter Krinetzki ). From 1985 to 1987 he had a teaching position at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Passau (Biblical Introduction / Exegesis AT). After receiving his doctorate in theology in 1988 at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (main subject: Old Testament with Theodor Seidl ), he was a research assistant at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Passau from 1988 to 1991 (Old Testament Exegesis : Paul Maiberger / Canon Law : Helmuth Pree ). From 1991 to 2013 he taught as professor for Exegesis of the Old Testament and Biblical Didactics at the Faculty of Religious Education / Church Educational Work at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt . From October 1996 to March 2009 he had a lectureship for Old Testament introductory sciences at the University of Philosophy in Munich . From 2003 to 2014 he was the Catholic chairman of the Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation e. V. Munich. Since May 21, 2014 he has been honorary chairman of the Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation e. V. Munich
