Pieros Sotiriou ( Greek Πιέρος Σωτηρίου Pieros Sotiriou , born January 13, 1993 in Nicosia ) is a Cypriot soccer player who currently plays for FK Astana in Kazakhstan .

Pieros Sotiriou began his professional career in 2010 with his hometown club Olympiakos Nicosia and after relegating from the first division in 2013 moved on to the Cypriot top club APOEL Nicosia , with whom he celebrated five championships and two cup wins. In the summer of 2017 he was signed by FC Copenhagen for 2.5 million euros. In his first season he was the club's top goalscorer with 14 meetings. On February 20, 2020, the Kazakh first division club FK Astana announced the commitment of Sotirious.

National team

Sotiriou, an integral part of the Cypriot national team since 2012 , plays as a center forward and has so far made 40 appearances and ten goals for his country.
