Alexei Alexandrovich Schtschotkin ( Russian Алексей Александрович Щёткин ; born May 21, 1991 in Taldy-Kurgan , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh football player who has been under contract with FK Astana in the Premjer league since 2015 .
Career
society
Shchotkin began playing football at Shetissu Taldyqorghan in his hometown. For the 2010 season he was used for the first time in the squad of the professional team of Taldyqorghan. He played his first Premier League game on May 7, 2010 in the game against Ordabassy Schymkent , when he was substituted on in the 73rd minute. Here he was able to establish himself as a regular player and had a total of 22 games by the end of the season. His first goal was in the away game against Aqschajyq Oral on June 22, 2010; the game ended in a 0-2 win for Taldyqorghan, with Shchotkin also scoring the second goal. Also in the 2011 season Alexei Schtschotkin was part of the team's regular squad; he completed 22 games, where he scored five goals. Schetissu Taldyqorghan was runner-up and thus eligible to participate in the first qualifying round for the 2012/13 Europa League . He made his competitive debut on July 5, 2012 against Lech Posen (0-2) when he came on for Edin Junuzović in the 70th minute . After Taldyqorghan came in the second leg only to a 1-1 draw, the club was eliminated.
During the 2013 season, he moved to league competitor FK Atyrau on June 8 , where he played his first game against Vostok Öskemen on June 14 . Here, too, he was a striker with 17 league games in the remaining season as a regular in the team.
After only two game days of the 2014 season , Schotkin was signed by FK Taras . Here he came to 24 Premjer Liga games, in which he scored a total of seven goals.
On January 28, 2015, he signed a one-year contract with FK Astana .
National team
Schotkin played a total of 15 games for the Kazakh U-21 national team between 2010 and 2012. He made his senior national team debut on August 14, 2013 in a friendly against Georgia ; the game ended in a 1-0 win for Kazakhstan. He scored the only goal in the national team so far against Moldova (1: 1) on February 18, 2015, when he scored in the 48th minute for the interim 1-0 lead.
