Žarko Tomašević (born February 22, 1990 in Pljevlja ) is a Montenegrin football player . He has been playing for FK Astana in the Premjer League , the highest Kazakh division , since 2019 .

Tomašević began his career in the youth departments of FK Partizan Belgrade from Serbia and at FK Mornar Bar in Montenegro. In 2008 he moved to Portugal to Nacional Funchal . There he joined the first team in 2009. The left-back made his debut in the top Portuguese division on August 15, 2009 against Sporting Lisbon . Tomašević played through, the game ended 1: 1. He also made his debut at European club level that season when he came on for Wellington in the 83rd minute in the qualifying match for the UEFA Europa League against Zenit Saint Petersburg on August 20, 2009 . Furthermore, Tomašević was used in the group games, where he scored the 4-1 in a 5-1 victory against FK Austria Wien . In the Europa League they were eliminated in the group stage, in the championship the seventh place was achieved. He played the 2011/12 season on loan for União Madeira . He made his debut for the Montenegrin senior team on May 29, 2010 in a friendly against Norway . The match in Oslo ended 2-1 for the Norwegians. Tomašević came on in the 48th minute for Radoslav Batak.
