Pierre Niney
Pierre Niney (born March 13, 1989 in Boulogne-Billancourt ( Paris ), France ) is a French actor .
Life
Pierre Niney was already on the theater stage at the age of eleven. He later studied acting at the Cours Florent and for two years at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique . At the age of 21 he became the youngest member of the Comédie-Française . But he made his screen debut before. After appearing in a television series in 2007, he made his debut in 2008 in the two comedies LOL (Laughing Out Loud) and School's Out - Schule was on the screen yesterday . For his performances in J'aime regarder les filles and Comme des frères , he was nominated for the French César film award in 2012 and 2013 for the best young actor .
In 2013, Niney was cast as Yves Saint Laurent . In the biographical film by Jalil Lespert he portrays the French fashion icon. The film premiered on January 8, 2014 in Paris. In February 2015, Niney was awarded the César for best leading actor for his performance.
