Platthof in Tanas

The Platthof (also called " beim Steffler") is located in the Tanas fraction of the municipality of Laas in the Vinschgau in South Tyrol .

The courtyard stands on a huge stone slab (hence the name) and is on the way to the Sacred Heart Church . He leads the house number 20 and consists of the house, stable and barn .

The building is classified as late Gothic by the monument office in Bozen without restrictions . So far, nothing is known about modifications or additions. The house has a double-armed flight of stairs, a vaulted kitchen and a living room with joists. Doors with donkey backs can be found on the upper floor .

A first documentary mention dates from the year 1505. A purchase contract from May 17, 1849 shows Alois Telser as the new owner of the farm, although another part of the family was probably already in possession of the farm, as an inscription on the barn shows: " 1682 Peter Telser and Marian Rasin ”refers. The Langau fiefdom also belonged to the farm at that time.

It is still managed today by the descendants of the Tels family.

In 1940 belonged to the farm:

  • the Trögeracker, Dorfacker, Ganeinacker, Runggacker, Möslacker, Praglacker, Mutmalacker and the Putzacker
  • the Pfaschwiese, Brügglwiese, Mitterwiese, Möslwiese, Gunggwiese, Spätwiese, Taflwiese and the Psurenwiese
  • the Eyrsermoos, Sebblingsmoos and the Laasermoos
  • two house gardens and a house green, which was planted with fruit trees.

The building has been a listed building since May 12, 1981.
