The Logebach rises north of the Asberg at around 330  m above sea level and in the urban area of Bad Honnef . It is crossed by two nationally important traffic structures: the 173 m long Logebach valley bridge on the high-speed railway line Cologne – Rhine / Main and the 160 m long Logebach valley bridge on federal motorway 3 . The brook forms the former border between the parishes and later communities or today's districts of Honnef and Aegidienberg ; in the Middle Ages he was called Honnefer Pleisbach . Its current name was only introduced after the Second World War and refers to its earlier function as Grenzbach.
