Polly Adler - A woman sees pink is an Austrian television film from 2005. It is based on the fictional newspaper columnist Polly Adler, who was started by Angelika Hager . Peter Ily Huemer acted as director . The comedy was first broadcast on December 29, 2005 on the TV channel ORF 1 .

action

The plot of the film was implemented in such a way that the fictional columnist Polly Adler was incorporated into a social setting for the first time. She has a teenage daughter who worries her. In addition, her husband, an architect, wants to get a divorce because he has fallen in love with a client. After exposing a political scandal, she appears to be a confident, successful woman in public, while in her private life she finds it difficult to cope with her problems.

The high point in the storyline aimed at tension / relaxation is Polly Adler's (at her side Florian Teichtmeister ) investigative-journalistic achievement, proving homosexuality to a member of the government ( August Schmölzer ) and, last but not least, convincing him, an outing by way of a cover story in the magazine of Polly's employer ( Wolfgang Böck ) to agree.

production

The film was produced by the Austrian company CULT-Film . TeamWorx and the Austrian broadcasting company were also involved in the production . The action takes place in Vienna , the locations included the Burgtheater and the Eden Bar in Vienna's first district of Inner City . Since the first broadcast in Austria achieved surprisingly good ratings, an initially four-part comedy series was produced for the film. In September 2007 the production was shown for the first time in France on TV1 under the name Les Chroniques de Polly in the afternoon program. The Austrian pop duo Papermoon donated the title song to the film with On My Way .
