Posi-Tone Records

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Posi-Tone Records is an American jazz - music label . It was founded in Los Angeles in 1994 by the music producer Marc Free.

Structures

The Posi-Tone company pays off economically because the entire added value is covered as far as possible by its own employees. Vertical integration, i.e. sound engineering, recording, marketing and production of the sound carriers in-house, without giving up shares to other parties, allowed the annual production of five CDs (1995) to more than triple (2012). Partnerships with musicians who sell CDs in their own interest at concerts have made a significant contribution to the company's success. The label's first five albums came out in 1995.
