The Federal Department for the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communication DETEC ( French Département fédéral de l'environnement, des transports, de l'énergie et de la communication DETEC , Italian Dipartimento federale dell'ambiente, dei trasporti, dell'energia e delle comunicazioni DATEC , Rhaeto-Romanic ) is one of the seven departments of the Swiss government. The department is headed by one of the Federal Councilors .
