Potim , officially Portuguese Município de Potim , is a city in the Brazilian state of São Paulo . It is located 167 km northeast of the capital São Paulo and belongs to the metropolitan area Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte . The population was estimated on July 1, 2019 at 24,643 inhabitants, who live in a municipality of around 44.5 km² and are called Potinese ( potinenses ). The parish ranks 250th of the state's 645 municipalities.
