Precious Metal is the ninth studio album by the American melodic rock band House of Lords .
Emergence
The album was recorded in the Voice Print Studio in 2013. As a guest musician appeared Robin Beck ( backing vocals ), Jeff Batter ( keyboard ) and Billy Seidman (acoustic guitar) with. The production took singer James Christian, who was also responsible for the sound mix together with Bob Marlette.

The album was released on CD in Europe on February 23, 2014 and was also released as a download version.
reception
The magazine Rocks wrote that the group had "discovered the hard edge in their old days:" Guitarist Jimi Bell missed pieces like Battle or Permission to Die "an undreamt-of guitar broadside," but "thanks to his flair for exquisite melodic moments", the singer succeeded James Christian, to keep the new "songs in melodic hard rock." The group serves "first-class mid-tempo rockers and ballads that get by without embarrassment in the case of Live Every Die (Like It's the Last) or Precious Metal ". In terms of songwriting, the current line-up can "easily compete with the makers of the past." The bottom line is that the album is one of "the highlights of the band's history."
