Primera Divisió 1995/96

The Primera Divisió 1996/97 was the 2nd season in the history of the Andorran football league. The CE Principat won its first championship ahead of the runner-up Veterans d'Andorra . By winning the cup, the club was the first in the country to win the double . A record that is still valid today was set with 115 goals this season. The top scorer was Patricio González Fernández, who scored 25 goals this season for CE Principat. None of the teams was relegated, as the second-highest division was only introduced in 1999.
