Primorsko-notranjska
Primorsko-notranjska ('Coastal Inner Carniola'), officially Primorsko-notranjska statistična regija , is a statistical region in Slovenia at NUTS 3 level. The old name was Notranjsko-kraška ( Inner Carniola Karst ).
The region intended for statistical purposes was introduced in May 2005. It includes the six municipalities of Bloke , Cerknica , Ilirska Bistrica , Loška Dolina , Pivka and Postojna . The most populous municipality is the city of Postojna. The area is 1,456 km². On January 1, 2014, the region had 52,449 inhabitants.
As of January 1, 2015, the name of the statistical region changes to: Primorsko-notranjska .
