In 1884 the Prischoss was the only place where the Moorheide was found in Bavaria.

In the floodplains of the Unterprischoss, polluted willows and poplars grew , most of which fell victim to the severe gale-force gusts of a supercell on August 18, 2019.

In 2018 the local bird protection association set up a Douglas fir trunk with a stork's nest made of willow branches . In March of the next year, a pair of white storks nested and had offspring in May 2019. A second stork's nest has now been set up in the Prischoss.
