Prolling is a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Ybbsitz in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

The cadastral community consists of the localities Großprolling and Kleinprolling .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 135 building areas with 40,988 m² and 68 gardens on 242,109 m² in the cadastral municipality of Prolling, in 1989/1990 there were 134 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 175 and in 2009/2010 there were 141 buildings on 174 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 888 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 1,700 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 725 hectares and 1,848 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 713 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 1,843 hectares. The average soil climate in Prolling is 18.9 (as of 2010).
