Waldamt is a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Ybbsitz in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 97 building areas with 23,383 m² and 34 gardens on 126,449 m² in the cadastral community of Waldamt, in 1989/1990 there were 93 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 91 and in 2009/2010 there were 74 buildings on 87 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 321 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 1,481 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000, 304 hectares of agriculture were practiced and 1,485 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 268 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 1,498 hectares. The forest office's average soil climate number is 15 (as of 2010).
