Schwarzenberg is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Ybbsitz in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 281 building areas with 68,356 m² and 180 gardens on 906,508 m² in the cadastral community of Schwarzenberg, in 1989/1990 there were 280 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 250 and in 2009/2010 there were 211 buildings on 367 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 866 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 311 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 873 hectares and 373 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 849 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 364 hectares. The average soil climate number of Schwarzenberg is 22.9 (as of 2010).
